Confidentiality. Zimame.com is a secure shopping site and all information given to us through the site will be treated as confidential. We do not give any information about you to third parties.

Our products are all ethically traded, and produced in Southern Africa. If you would like info about the various producers, and images, please ask and we will be happy to supply these. These terms and conditions supersede all previous ones, and we reserve the right to alter them at any time without notice.

Please note that info@zimame.com is the only ...@ zimame.com email attached to our site. After initial contact from you, we may use our personal email to correspond.

Making A Purchase

Ordering online.

For new retail customers an initial minimum order is £75 plus VAT @ 20%, or £40 plus vat for artists/makers.
Thereafter there is no minimum order.
[Existing Injabulo wholesale account customers may continue to order using existing account details]

We aim to keep a good level of products in stock, however all products are subject to availability, and we reserve the right to withdraw lines from sale at any time and without notice. If you are ordering large quantities, we may well send a part order, and send the remainder once we have re-stocked.

Special orders - ie large quantities of any item(s) or non-stock items usually need to be be paid for at the time of ordering.
We would generally expect to have these in within a few weeks, but please ask for an estimated time of delivery. We may be able to hold other stock for a limited period for you while waiting for a delivery, {or send in 2 parts}.
Please note that some of the lines we stock are 'special orders' to ourselves, and will take longer to replenish.

Back orders are not normally generated, but may be done so at our discretion.

Discrepancies/damaged goods. Please notify us within 48 hours of receipt of your order if there is anything damaged, or missing from your order.

We always acknowledge receipt of an order - normally by email as soon as possible.

If you haven't had a reply after a few days, please contact us....as we have found when sending out group emails to you all - they sometimes go astray.

Please check current prices by logging in to our website.
Prices advertised on printed material will be current when issued, but may be subject to rises at any time due to price rises imposed by our suppliers and other rising costs. Sorry, but we are unable to issue warnings of forthcoming price rises.

Shipping And Handling

For orders up to £140 (excluding vat] delivery will be by 2nd class post/standard parcel and charged as follows:
Order value Up to £10 [+ VAT] - £1.50 [# see note below]
Order value Up to £25 [+ VAT] - £2.50 [# see note below]
Order value Up to £40 [+ VAT] - £4.50 [up to 1kg packaged weight]
Order value Up to £140 [+VAT] (or over 1kg packaged) - £6.50

For 1st class delivery on all the above please allow additional £2 .

# NB Weights vary so rates are based on heavier/bulkier items. If weight and size allow, we may be able to sent 1st class without extra charge.

A carriage free order is £140 ( + VAT) for NON urgent orders to the UK mainland only.

For URGENT orders over £140, the approx shipping charges will apply:
£6.50 [up to 750g] or
£8.50 [over 750g)
£10 (2 KG and over).

Additional charges for first class delivery, wherever possible, will be advised before the parcel is sent.


All orders outside mainland UK will be packed and weighed and charged accordingly, but are normally £12.50 max.
Please note that we will use 'Despatch Bay' for these orders who will require your phone and/or email.

It is our aim to provide a good service whilst keeping postage costs to a minimum for all. With this in mind we will always try to find the best postage option available at the time, which may mean holding a parcel for a few days and posting in bulk. We normally send parcels out within 7 days at the latest, after payment. (around holiday periods, it may take a little longer]
If you need your delivery urgently we are happy to do this and will charge for postage at cost.

Delivery Schedule
Despatch - we aim to despatch all orders within 7-10 working days of receipt of payment, usually sooner.
Parcels will normally be sent out midweek by standard/economy delivery.
If you want your order urgently, please contact us to discuss. Requested express delivery on any order will carry a surcharge. {This also applies to orders which would normally be carriage free.}

For special orders (non-stock items or large quantities of 1 code) please allow 4-6 weeks.
We will always notify you if there is going to be a delay with any aspect of your order.

Please contact us if you are concerned that your parcel hasn't arrived when expected. UK orders should reach their desination within 14 working days of payment. Orders outside the uk may take a little longer.

Back Orders
Back orders are not normally generated, but will be done so at our discretion.

Tax Charges
For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 20% VAT is added. If your order is exempt from VAT you will need to supply your exemption number.

Credit Card Security
Due to the high bank charges involved, we no longer take card payments via Sage Pay.
If you wish to pay by credit or debit card you can still do so via paypal - please email us before placing your order.
If you chose this method you will therefore be taken away from our site to make the payment.

Should you wish to return any of our products we will refund the cost of the item in full if it is received back in the same condition that it was sent out to you, within 30 days of shipment.

Please report any breakages or losses with 48 hours of receipt.

A refund will be made within 30 days of an item being returned.

Privacy Policy

We use the information you have provided about your business to process your order, and to provide you with the best possible service. This information will be held securely in accordance with our internal policy and the law. We use the information you have provided about yourself to complete your orders and retain it to enable you to make further online purchases using your unique log in details. Your details will not be passed to third parties except as is necessary to complete an order - if we send parcels using 'despatch bay' they sometimes require a phone number and/or an email address.
Occassionally we may contact you to keep you informed about our companys' products and services - usually in the form of a newsletter. We don't do this more than 2 or 3 times a year, but if you would prefer not to receive this form of correspondence please let us know with a simple email message.
Once your order has been completed, if you would prefer to have your customer account deleted, we can do this on receipt of an email - however your order details will remain on the site for as long as we need them for accounting purposes. Likewise, any paper copies of invoices will be held for 7 years for accounting and taxation purposes, after which time they will be shredded or burnt.
If you have supplied us with details about your retail outlet, for inclusion on our website, these have currently been hidden as this section is under review.

Payment for goods is usually made by BACS. If you pay by paypal we do not handle your banking information, instead you are taken to paypal's own site to complete the transaction.
This policy has been reviewed in line with the new GDPR regulations due to come into force in May 2018.

Returns Policy
Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive.

You are entitled to cancel your order and return the goods within 7 working days for a full refund, including the cost of delivery where applicable. Do this by contacting us by email or telephone and quoting the order number supplied to you. Your refund will be paid within 30 days. You are responsible for the cost and risk of loss or damage when returning the goods, so you should take out enough postal insurance to cover their value. This cancellation policy does not affect your rights when we are at fault - for example, if goods are faulty or misdescribed.
Please note - if we need to make a refund on a card payment, an admin fee will apply.

Any goods returned should be in saleable condition.

These terms apply to your order. We may change our terms and conditions at any time, so please do not assume that the same terms will apply in the future.

None of these terms affect your legal rights and these are not diminished in any way. If any term is held to be invalid under any applicable statute or rule of law, that term is automatically omitted from the terms to minimum extent necessary to comply with the law and without affecting the validity or enforceability of the remainder.

We are sorry that we no longer take payment by card via Sagepay.

If you have already agreed credit terms with us, we will include an invoice with your order. We request that account customers adhere to our trade terms, which are strictly 30 days from the date of the invoice.
